MISSION STATEMENT
The Greater Jacksonville Coin Club is an educational organization dedicated to informing the general public of the North Florida region about numismatics and promoting all facets of the hobbies of coin, currency, medal and token collecting. The club is open to all members of the general public of good character who share the interests of the club without regard to race, sex, creed or national origin.

The Greater Jacksonville Coin Club is North Florida’s oldest and largest such organization. Members have a wide interest in U.S., foreign and ancient coins as well as tokens, currency, medals and other forms of exonumia. The club was formed over fifty years ago, is incorporated under the laws of the State of Florida and has been designated as a 501 C-4 Not For Profit Educational Organization.

The GJCC is a lifetime member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA) and a long standing member of the Florida United Numismatists (FUN).A library consisting of over 250 numismatic books and publications dealing with all facets of numismatics and related fields is maintained by the club. All items are available for loan to club members free of charge.

The Club consists of over 225 Members
including many juniors and spouses. Monthly meetings are held on the
SECOND MONDAY of each month starting at 7 pm. An auction is usually held at the end of each meeting. Executive board members meet monthly on the fourth Tuesday to organize and plan the various club activities. Club officers are elected each year at the December meeting.

Membership fees are as follows:
Regular members $10.00
Spousal members $5.00
Junior members (under 18) $3.00
All members receive a monthly newsletter via regular mail or email.

Members can arrive starting at 6pm. Dinner is available for a nominal cost. Members can bring items for sale or trade. Auctions are normally held after each meeting.
